Wojciech Siudmak - Our Little Prince
Description
"Our Little Prince" depicts a radiant hero whose beauty and energy are like a treasure hidden in the heart of every family. The armchair shown is the throne on which the prince is transported to the land of his dreams. It is a symbol of his uniqueness.
A child's smile is a symbol of uniqueness, it is like a divine energy of beauty, and childhood becomes a time full of mystery. The Little Prince has not yet mastered the art of words, but he is already able to express a whole range of emotions with his presence. Together, we experience moments when the world becomes like a fairy-tale kingdom and the hearts of parents and loved ones blossom with the smile of this tiny prince....
"Every childhood is marked by some symbol, memory or dream. The ones that stick out strongest in my memory are a portrait of Chopin, a small reproduction of an Ingres drawing that my father placed above his desk, and the discovery of a large anatomy atlas hidden in a cupboard. Later, reading Greek mythology and Jules Verne novels. (...) I have always been accompanied by a vision of an engraving by Ingres - in my opinion the greatest draughtsman in the history of art. I think that the fascination with his drawings, stored somewhere deep in my memory, allowed me in 2006 to undertake a gigantic journey into the universe of Dune, a kind of dialogue with the work of Frank Herbert." - Wojciech Siudmak, Siudmak Fantastic Worlds, Dom Wydawniczy Rebis, 2021

Siudmak's timeless art, captivates with its Renaissance perfection and virtuosity and imagination beyond the norm, fascinating with its intellectual richness. Many famous personalities have expressed their admiration for the artist's work: Federico Fellini, Jean-Jacques Annaud, George Lucas, Paul Guth, John Harrison, Jacques Goimard, Jean Claude Dunyach, Francis Lai, Guy Beart, Kim Stanley Robinson and Denis Villeneuve director of the Oscar-winning film "Diuna".
