Wojciech Siudmak - Fortune
Description
"Fortune" transports us into a world of human hopes and uncertainties. It is a symbol of duality, a personification of fate, which can be either good or bad. It is a fascinating insight into the human experience that oscillates between success and failure, fortune and misfortune. It is a reflection, a natural thought that accompanies us in our daily lives. Fortune is a kind of symbol of personal experience, where a year of abundance and poverty can follow one another, like the alpha and omega of our destinies.
A key element in this work is the dice, which is set off, reminding us that our fate is incalculable, just like a random throw of the dice. Prosperity is like roulette, whose secret is undiscovered. It is a reminder that whether we are blessed with good fortune or experience hardship, our future is uncertain but can also bring good surprises.
'Fortune' is an invitation to reflect on unpredictability. It prompts us to ask what really lies behind the veil of the unknown.
"What boundless fantasy and what a wonderful ability to realise it. A talent almost unbelievable, more capable and more infinite than that which creates expresses and guides our richest dreams." - the eminent Italian director Federico Fellini on Siudmak's work.

Siudmak's timeless art, captivates with its Renaissance perfection and virtuosity and imagination beyond the norm, fascinating with its intellectual richness. Many famous personalities have expressed their admiration for the artist's work: Federico Fellini, Jean-Jacques Annaud, George Lucas, Paul Guth, John Harrison, Jacques Goimard, Jean Claude Dunyach, Francis Lai, Guy Beart, Kim Stanley Robinson and Denis Villeneuve director of the Oscar-winning film "Diuna".
