Adelajda Kot - Weeds, 2023
Description
Weeds (2023)
Ciconia nigra, meaning black stork. Unlike its white relative, it avoids human company, setting up nests among inaccessible swamps and forest thickets. In her work Weeds, Adelaide Kot used the uneasy motif of the double. Everything we consider close and friendly has its dark, hidden face. Emerald greens, rusty oranges and the masterful black of bird feathers lend a dignified aura to the interiors. This is a title full of depth - not only in color....
Adelaide Kot's original inkographs are available in a limited edition of 50 copies. Each print has its own unique edition number and the artist's handwritten signature.
