Adelaide Kot's imagination is governed by the laws of daydreaming. In a tilted bathroom, by a baroque mirror, a monkey takes a bath. Dressed in a cap, equipped with shampoo and a sponge - it does not feel a stranger in the human world. Selestones and browns perfectly highlight the vintage character of the work. It's a courageous title that will perfectly complement an experimental interior.
Adelaide Kot's original inkographs are available in a limited edition of 50 copies. Each print comes with its own unique edition number and the artist's handwritten signature.
Adelajda Kot (Aleksandra Mańkowska) is a self-taught polish artist, born in Warsaw in 1984. From 2003 to 2006 she studied mathematics at the University of Warsaw. She was also professionally involved in rehabilitation and training of sport horses both in Poland and abroad. Painting and sketching are her lifelong passions. Since 2020, she has been developing her artistic talent by gaining more technique skills. She currently lives in Germany.
