Adelajda Kot - The Snakebird - a species of devil bird, 2022
Description
The Snakebird - a species of devil bird (2022)
Sharp orange, powdery lilac and milky shades of bird feathers - this is what Adelaide Kot's The Snakebird delights in. The artist refers to the cultural symbolism that man bestows on animals. Anhingidae, or Snakebird, is a bird with a long, writhing neck. This mysterious appearance earned it the nickname “devil bird” in Native American cultures. The perfect proportion of the work and the rhythmic selection of color will enchant lovers of classical figurative art.
Adelaide Kot's original inkographs are available in a limited edition of 50 copies. Each print has its own unique edition number and the artist's handwritten signature.
