Susanna's Abduction (2023)
Adelaide Kot's works are arranged in an endless labyrinth of curiosities. They subtly decorate interiors, spreading a mysterious, antiquarian aura. In Susanna's Abduction we encounter an extraordinary striped weasel. A tiger mosaic adorns its fur, intertwining the deepest black with milky white. All around - as is appropriate for an exotic garden - the juicy reds and greens are brimming. Only after a while does our eye notice a mysterious photograph lying among the leaves. We begin to wonder who the titular Susanna actually is....
Adelaide Kot's original inkographs are available in a closed edition of 50 copies. Each print has its own unique edition number and the artist's handwritten signature.
