Normally in love with exotic landscapes and animal species, Adelaide Kot decided to delve into the thicket of the polish forest. The fur coat of the title marten harmonizes with the striped mosaic of the woodpecker's feathers. The atlas-like composition of mushrooms, ferns and horsetails adds a fairy-tale flavor to the work. It's a title that will re-enchant our perspective on domestic gardens and parks.
Adelaide Kot's original inkographs are available in a limited edition of 50 copies. Each print has its own unique edition number and the artist's handwritten signature.
Adelajda Kot (Aleksandra Mańkowska) is a self-taught polish artist, born in Warsaw in 1984. From 2003 to 2006 she studied mathematics at the University of Warsaw. She was also professionally involved in rehabilitation and training of sport horses both in Poland and abroad. Painting and sketching are her lifelong passions. Since 2020, she has been developing her artistic talent by gaining more technique skills. She currently lives in Germany.
