Princess Frog (2020)
In a raspberry lake, among water lilies, a frog is taking a bath. A blissful smile, a moth brooch and a subtle lotus crown adorn her regal visage. Embellished with a robe of fluffy white flowers, she is - according to the title - a true royal. Adelaide Kot reveals to us a world of animal legends the wisdom of which still remains a mystery to humans.
Adelaide Kot's original inkographs are available in a limited edition of 50 copies. Each print has its own unique edition number and the artist's handwritten signature.
Adelajda Kot (Aleksandra Mańkowska) is a self-taught polish artist, born in Warsaw in 1984. From 2003 to 2006 she studied mathematics at the University of Warsaw. She was also professionally involved in rehabilitation and training of sport horses both in Poland and abroad. Painting and sketching are her lifelong passions. Since 2020, she has been developing her artistic talent by gaining more technique skills. She currently lives in Germany.
