Zdzisław Beksiński - Untitled (10)
Description
The photograph "Untitled (10)" by Zdzisław Beksiński is a print from the artist's original negative.
The rope used is almost a defining feature in Beksinski's work, if only for the sake of one of his most famous photographs which is "The Sadist's Corset." The motif of the bound face may reflect the character's inner conflicts. This gesture suggests hidden emotions that may be difficult to reveal to the outside world. The dark and mysterious atmosphere created in this way prompts the viewer to search for non-obvious meanings.
The contemporary print was created under the substantive and technical supervision of the Historical Museum in Sanok in a unique, limited series of 25 copies. The Historical Museum in Sanok, in accordance with the artist's will, became the sole heir to his works and the copyright to them. Each print has two stamps - one dry stamp with the name of the institution and the other wet stamp, with information about the series number and with the signature of the Director of the Historical Museum in Sanok.
