Zdzisław Beksiński - Untitled (11)
Description
The photograph "Untitled (11)" by Zdzisław Beksiński is a print from the artist's original negative.
Although most of Zdzislaw Beksinski's works are known for their dark and surreal aesthetic, there are also some that reflect completely different aspects. His admiration for his partner's beauty should therefore be read as an expression of love, tenderness and intimacy in their relationship. The protagonist looks towards a source of light coming from above, which, encircling her figure, outlines her feminine attributes - her slender shoulders, collarbones and jawline. The photograph is a perfect example of Beksinski's genius, who was open to searching for new formal solutions, thus developing innovative visions.
The contemporary print was created under the substantive and technical supervision of the Historical Museum in Sanok in a unique, limited series of 25 copies. The Historical Museum in Sanok, in accordance with the artist's will, became the sole heir to his works and the copyright to them. Each print has two stamps - one dry stamp with the name of the institution and the other wet stamp, with information about the series number and with the signature of the Director of the Historical Museum in Sanok.
