Zdzislaw Beksinski - Untitled (05)
Description
The photograph "Untitled (05)" by Zdzisław Beksiński is a print from the artist's original negative.
The image of melancholy Zofia staring into Zdzisław's lens can be read as a manifesto of her boundless love. A seemingly simple procedure using window blinds gives the photo a rhythm. Extremely eloquent gaze and beauty hidden in simplicity blurs in thoughtful movement and blur. A tender, lyrical story about a partner is one of Zofia Beksińska's most famous photographs.
A contemporary print was created under the substantive and technical supervision of the Historical Museum in Sanok in a unique, limited series of 30 copies. According to the artist's last will and testament, the Historical Museum in Sanok became the sole heir to his works and the copyrights to them. Each print has two seals - one dry with the name of the institution and the other wet, with information about the series number and the signature of the Director of the Historical Museum in Sanok.
