The dancers were separated from their typical ballet space and placed in spacious architectural spaces. Classic black and white, consistently used by the photographer, allowed to tame the chaos of the background and focus attention on the model. Despite the documentation of the existing position, the photo is full of dynamics thanks to the expressiveness of the gestures.
The session from the Ballerinas series was awarded the Bronze Medal at the international Prix de la Photographie Paris competition, additionally, as part of this edition, the artist himself was honored with the title of the Best Advertising Photographer of the Year.
