The Zdzisław Beksiński Collection (II)
Description
THE COLLECTION OF ZDZISŁAW BESKIŃSKI (I) INCLUDES: UNTITLE (28), UNTITLE (31), UNTITLE (32).

The fascination with a human being, or a human-like figure, has always been present in Beksiński's work. The above collection is a graphic representation of rounded silhouettes that are both kissable and alienated at the same time. Inside the bodies, we can see more faces and blurred, foggy worlds. The artist has always strived for technical perfectionism, which can also be seen in this juxtaposition. The triptych is characterized by the dynamics of the frame, which can be observed in the form of differentiated plans. This is an ideal proposition for collectors looking for a set of sublime graphics , which, despite their ascetic form, do not need the company of unnecessary additions.
Zdzisław Beksiński worked in the technique of heliography/heliotype, also known as cliché-verre , in the years 1956-69. The modern print was created under the substantive and technical supervision of the Historical Museum in Sanok in a unique, limited series of 10 copies. These are strictly controlled, numbered works. Each print has two seals - one dry with the name of the institution and the other wet, with information about the series number and the signature of the Director of the Historical Museum in Sanok.
