Description
In the very heart of the forest, a mist drifts over the mirrored surface of the lake. Turquoise and celadon swirl in the treetops. The horizon vanishes into the distance, this suggesting that this green labyrinth may be endless. Agnieszka Zabrodzka's artistic imagination springs from a romantic reflection on nature - every plant encountered on a walk may hide a secret.
Agnieszka Zabrodzka's original inkography is only available in a limited edition of 50 copies. Each work has an individual edition number along with the artist's handwritten signature.
Agnieszka Zabrodzka was born in 1989 in Warsaw. From 2004 to 2010, she attended lessons in drawing at the Atelier Foksal Foundation. In 2010, she started her degree at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she found herself in the team of Prof. Stanisław Baj and Dr Arkadiusz Karapuda's studio. She is the authoress of solo exhibitions, including: ‘Holiday Love’, Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw (2012); “Painting”, Chamber of Legal Counsels (2013); “Reflection”, Staromiejski Dom Kultury, Warsaw (2015). She has also been involved in many group exhibitions, both in Poland and abroad.
