Description
In everyday life, we do not notice how multicoloured the cycle of day and night is. Dusk is the liminal moment, the transition from light to darkness. Agnieszka Zabrodzka brings out the cosmic purple and blue with which the sky is filled at that moment. The layout of the perspective is determined by towering trees and mountain peaks, seeking their reflection in the surface of a forest lake. Dusk is a real feast for the eye in the form of colour.
Agnieszka Zabrodzka's original inkography is only available in a limited edition of 50 copies. Each work has an individual edition number along with the artist's handwritten signature.
Agnieszka Zabrodzka was born in 1989 in Warsaw. From 2004 to 2010, she attended lessons in drawing at the Atelier Foksal Foundation. In 2010, she started her degree at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she found herself in the team of Prof. Stanisław Baj and Dr Arkadiusz Karapuda's studio. She is the authoress of solo exhibitions, including: ‘Holiday Love’, Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw (2012); “Painting”, Chamber of Legal Counsels (2013); “Reflection”, Staromiejski Dom Kultury, Warsaw (2015). She has also been involved in many group exhibitions, both in Poland and abroad.
