Agnieszka Zabrodzka - Forest Watchman, 2023
Description
Deer — behold the undisputed king of the forest! When it stands still in the midst of a green thicket, its majestic antlers resemble a crown. Agnieszka Zabrodzka brings out all these connotations, depicting the animal in the view of a tree-lined avenue, on the bank of a river. The echo of the mirrored reflections drifts across the surface of the water, resonating with the whiteness of the birch trunks.
Agnieszka Zabrodzka's original inkography is only available in a limited edition of 50 copies. Each work has an individual edition number along with the artist's handwritten signature.
