Ryszard Winiarski (1936-2006) - painter, creator of spatial forms, and set designer. He studied at the Faculty of Precision Mechanics at the Warsaw University of Technology (1953-1959). As a free listener, he attended the painting studio of Aleksander Kobzdej at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (ASP), where he began regular studies in the Painting Department in 1960. Winiarski studied painting under the guidance of Stanisław Szczepański, Jan Wodyński, and Aleksander Kobzdej, as well as set design under Władysław Daszewski and typography under Julian Pałka. From 1976 to 1981, he conducted classes at the Institute of Art Education at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. In 1966, he received an award at the Symposium of Artists and Scientists in Puławy. From 1967 to 1977, he created set designs, including at the Polish Theatre in Warsaw. Since 1976, he started his activities in the "Salons of the Game," where he involved random participants. His most important spatial projects include Goriucken 1976, the Hamburg project in 1980, and participation in the Kunststrasse Rhön in 1986. He had approximately 50 solo exhibitions, including the São Paulo Biennale (1969) and the Biennale of Constructivism in Nuremberg (1969 and 1971).
