Hanna Bakuła - Tango with a cat
Description
As a total artist, Hanna Bakuła works on many levels - she paints, writes, creates costumes. She is called by critics "Witkacy in a skirt". In 1996, she designed the costumes for the opera "Carmen" at the National Opera in Warsaw. In his work, he accurately portrays the surrounding reality. The artist's works are full of color and expression emphasized by numerous contrasts.
As she says about herself: “(…) I don't draw people who aren't pretty. That's my rule. In addition, I do not draw people over 60, obese, bald, and children. Of course, I like to create portraits of people who are both beautiful and smart. Even though I often refused to cooperate, I have already created about two thousand portraits. Each one took me about four hours to complete."
The inkography "Tango with a cat" by Hanna Bakuła was created in a closed limited edition of 20 copies.
