Hanna Bakuła - Romance in the Rain
Description
As a total artist, Hanna Bakuła works on many levels - she paints, writes, creates costumes. She is called by critics "Witkacy in a skirt". In 1996, she designed the costumes for the opera "Carmen" at the National Opera in Warsaw. In his work, he accurately portrays the surrounding reality.
As she says about herself: “(…) I don't draw people who aren't pretty. That's my rule. In addition, I do not draw people over 60, obese, bald, and children. Of course, I like to create portraits of people who are both beautiful and smart. Even though I often refused to cooperate, I have already created about two thousand portraits. Each one took me about four hours to complete.
Hanna Bakuła's "Romance in the Rain" inkography was created in a closed limited edition of 20 copies.
