Edward Dwurnik - Rydzyk Legions (1)
Description
The influences of Bernard Buffett's figurativeness and Nikifor Krynicki's perspective were reflected in Dwurnik's work. The mocking portraits of people forming a crowded composition are the artist's commentary on the surrounding reality. Notes on canvas in the form of radio frequencies are an incredible nonchalance borrowed from Nikifor's paintings. As if these words were to become the completion of the whole. A gaping mouth and broken teeth are a caricatured performance, a wink of the eye and, undoubtedly, an offer for the brave!
