Jan Dobkowski - Energy
Description
Dobkowski's performances are abstract, which makes them difficult to interpret. The artist starts from the line that is his greatest inspiration. Wassily Kandinsky himself developed the concept of a point, line and plane, to which modern painters refer. In "Energy", therefore, the simplicity of the idea itself and the intensity of the form combine, and the main theme is flow and vitality.
“I live in linearism. I see a great net around me, I am stuck in it. What is real - due to the fact that it is composed of lines - becomes abstract. The line is the most important. A line is a thought.” J. Dobkowski
