Mirella Stern - Anticipation
Description
"Oh, not a chance!" we sometimes exclaim in defiance of the world, seeking to prove our point. The masters of stubbornly pursuing their dreams are children. They are the true heroes in the paintings of Mirella Stern. However, this is not art dedicated solely to the youngest. "Anticipation" (2024) speaks of courage, which always goes hand in hand with creative play. Tilted noses and rocking horses will remind every adult that the carefree magic of childhood is still within reach.
The print "Anticipation" by Mirella Stern was created as part of a limited edition of 50 copies. Each artwork bears the artist's handwritten signature along with its unique edition number.
Mirella Stern was born in 1971. She graduated from the Faculty of Art at the Pedagogical University in Kraków, where she defended her thesis in 2005 under the supervision of Dr. Aleksander Pieńka. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Poland. Currently, she combines her individual painting work with stage design. Her fascination with the "theatricality" of life is reflected in her art, where she depicts the distinctive figures of wooden dolls.
