Mirella Stern was born in 1971. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at the Pedagogical University in Kraków, earning her diploma in 2005 under the guidance of Dr. Aleksander Pieńko. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions across Poland. Currently, she combines her individual painting practice with set design. Her fascination with the "theatricality" of life is reflected in her work, which often features distinctive depictions of wooden puppet characters.
