The diptych "Forest Flight" and "Traraloscope" by Józef Wilkoń is an observation of the mysterious world of animals in the juxtaposition of night and day. An analogy can be seen here to the children's books he illustrated, bringing us closer to fairy-tale worlds. An absolutely unique composition is created by a combination of ink, watercolor and dry pastels as well as elements borrowed from the aesthetics of Miro or Chagall's imagery.
