Waldemar Świerzy is one of the most outstanding Polish poster artists and is the author of over 1,500 works in this medium. He exploited the portrait at every stage of his career, although the starting point, especially in the 1950s, was the entire human figure. He painted pictures, designed film and theater posters, and even album covers. His first works were characterized by a simplified form, as well as innovation in the field of typography. Waldemar Świeży's expressive collection includes a collection of iconic incographs in DESA Modern , and their common point is a reference to culture and tradition, including dance and music.
