Edward Dwurnik - The stadium of the decade
Description
It is a cult place for Varsovians. It functioned in the years 1955-2008 as a football and athletics stadium and was an Olympic facility. Dwurnik, as usual, reflects the topography of the city and places the Poniatowski Bridge, which still stands today. The "Stadium of the Decade", painted in 2008, mainly depicts the square and the historic Europa Fair, where urban life takes place. There you can buy fashionable clothes, sell cigarettes, take a picture in a photo booth, go to the "pywo" or use the "toy toy" on the riverbank. Everything is bathed in blue, characteristic for Dwurnik, and carefully signed.
